Privacy policy.

The short version

MakeMythic Hub does not collect personal data. We do not use cookies. We do not run third-party trackers. We do not have user accounts. Every tool runs entirely in your browser, files you upload are never sent to a server.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-first analytics service that does not use cookies or collect personal data. It measures aggregate page views and performance metrics only. No individual visitor can be identified. Cloudflare's privacy policy is available on their website.

External links

This site links to our Etsy shop (makemythic.etsy.com). When you click those links, you leave MakeMythic Hub and Etsy's own privacy policy applies. We include UTM parameters in those links to measure which pages drive traffic, but these parameters do not identify you personally.

Local storage

We store your light/dark mode preference in your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device and can be cleared by clearing your browser data.

File processing

Tools that accept file uploads (grid overlay, token maker, fog of war, etc.) process files entirely in your browser using the HTML5 Canvas API. No file data is transmitted to any server. When you close the tab, the files are gone.

The Tabletop Display tool uses WebRTC to send map and fog-of-war data directly between your devices (peer-to-peer). To establish that connection, it uses a third-party signalling broker provided by PeerJS (peerjs.com). Connection metadata (specifically the session identifiers needed to locate your devices) passes through that broker during the initial handshake. The actual image and map data is sent peer-to-peer between your devices and does not pass through PeerJS servers. PeerJS's own privacy policy applies to that metadata.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
